Visma sold for 45 bn.

Schjødt has advised Hg Capital in the acquisition of additional shares in Visma together with an international investor consortium. The transaction values Visma at NOK 45 billion.

With a value of NOK 45 billion, the transaction is the largest ever within software in Europe. We have assisted Hg Capital and an investor consortium in the aquisition of additional shares in Visma. Hg controls approx. 41% of the shares in Visma after the acquisition.

Visma is a Norwegian software company established in 1996 and which currently has 5,500 employees and head office in Oslo. Through acquisition and growth, they have evolved into one of Europe's largest software companies. Visma is primarily a software provider for financial and personnel systems. Visma has focused heavily on cloud-based solutions in the past ten years.
