Opera realized its second sales in the billions

Opera has its second sales in the billions in 2016. Initially, the browser business was sold and now the TV business is also sold.

Opera TV AS delivers menu systems and app store to many of the world's manufacturers of smart TVs. The buyer is the investment company Moore Freres & Company, which has its origin in technology and media. Opera will be paid USD 80 million and will retain about 30 percent of the shares in the buyer's parent company. From before, the company's browser business was sold for USD 575 million to the Chinese grouping, which first tried to buy all the shares in Opera Software ASA.

Schjødt was legal advisor to Opera in the transaction.
